Product Knowledge: Familiarize oneself with the store’s merchandise to assist customers in finding products and suggesting alternatives when necessary.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and free from clutter. Ensure the counter and surrounding areas are presentable at all times.
Price Checks and Price Changes: Perform price checks for customers and execute price changes when required, adhering to store procedures.
Security and Loss Prevention: Monitor for suspicious activities, counterfeit money, or potential theft, and promptly report any concerns to store management or security personnel.
Cash Reconciliation: At the end of each shift, reconcile the cash drawer, prepare daily sales reports, and submit them to the appropriate personnel.
