Warehouse Material Handler Job Description

As a warehouse material handler, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate handling, sorting, packing, and distribution of materials and products within the warehouse or distribution center. Your role is essential in ensuring that products are properly stored, organized, and made available for shipment or production as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling:
- Receive and check incoming shipments.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Move materials to the right places using equipment or by hand.
- Prepare materials for shipping.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking materials in and out of the warehouse.
Order Fulfillment:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are prepared for shipment.
- Label, package, and prepare materials for shipping.
- Stage and load outbound shipments onto trucks for delivery.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations related to material handling and warehouse operations.

- Ensure that materials are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in warehouse or material handling is a plus.
