Job Description

The duties of a road maintenance worker can vary depending on the specific job and location, but include the following:

Cleaning the roads and making sure there is no debris or garbage on them.
Fixing holes and cracks in the road by filling them with special materials.
Checking and maintaining road signs, traffic lights, and markings so that they are clear and easy to understand.
Removing snow and ice from the roads during winter using special equipment.
Trimming trees and cutting overgrown grass along the roads to make sure they don’t block the view or cause problems.
Taking care of the machines and tools they use for their work.
Helping in emergencies like accidents or natural disasters by controlling traffic or clearing the roads.

Requirements:

Completed vocational training as a road attendant
Paving and asphalt job experience
Working autonomously
Creativity, flexibility, and motivation to perform, as well as team and communication skills.
A valid driver’s license classes C/CE
Willingness to work overtime even during inconvenient periods, such as weekends and public holidays, especially during winter service.
Physical fitness for the job.
