QNCC Started with the production of Ordinary Portland Cement in 1969, to meet the demand for cement in Qatar. Later on, the Company installed Second and third cement production lines in 1974 and 1976 to fulfill the growing demand for cement in the state of Qatar. Furthermore, in 1974 and 1976 QNCC added a Calcined Lime Plant and Hydrated Lime Plants to its facilities.

With the increasing demand for building material, Qatar National Cement has installed five Production lines to date. Now QNCC is a major producer of SRC (Sulfate Resistant Cement), Hydrated Cao, Lime, and Washed Sand in the State of Qatar.
